This guide will assist you in transitioning from iCollect to our new iManage Remote Cheque Deposit (RCD) application.

By following these easy steps, you will be able to continue using iCollect without any interruptions till the launch of iManage RCD.
Before 20 August 2022, you have to perform the following Part 1, 2 and 3 on your PC. Please take NOTE that iCollect will not be accessible with the launch of iManage.
Pre-Requisites:
Windows based PC
Enable Administrator rights on the PC
Install .NET Framework 3.5 &.NET Framework 4.8
Setup package which can be downloaded at the end of this guide includes:
- Latest SmartPVADriver application which supports Smart Source Professional and Elite scanners.
VTransactDigiTB application.
iManage Simulator
How to Install .NET Framework 3.5 &.NET Framework 4.8:
Step 1: Go to Control Panel and click on Programs and Features.
Step 2: Click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
Step 3: Click on the following boxes:
- .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)
- .NET Framework 4.8 Advanced Services
- Under .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0), tick both Windows Communication Foundation HTTP Activation and Windows Communication Foundation Non-HTTP Activation
- Under .NET Framework 4.8 Advanced Services, tick ASP.NET 4.8
Step 4: After following the above steps, restart your PC.
Once your PC has restarted, you may now proceed with the next steps as follows.
PART 1 - Install SmartPVADriver application
Step 1: If Smart Source software is enabled, shutdown the Smart Source Manager from the windows tray located on the lower right side of the screen. If Smart Source software is not enabled, you can skip this step.
Step 2: Run Device Manager from the Control Panel and uninstall Smart Source (Kernel) device under Jungo.
Step 3: After uninstalling Smart Source (Kernel), shutdown the Cheque Scanner by unplugging from the PC and turning off the Power Outlet.
Step 4: Install SmartPVADriver as per attachment at the bottom of this guide. NOTE: This step has to be done using the PC Administrator Log-in.
Step 5: After installation, run Device Manager again from Control Panel and verify that the driver SmartSource (Kernel) is available.
PART 2 - Install VTransactDigiTB application:
Step 1: Install the VTransactDigiTB as per attachment at the bottom of this guide. NOTE: This step has to be done using the PC Administrator Log-in.
Congratulations, you have successfully installed the iManage Utility program!
PART 3 - Disable VTransactDigiTB application
Step 1: Disable the “VTransactDigiTB” application
- Search for “Task Manager”
- Click the “Startup” tap
- Scroll down and Select “VTransactDigiTB”
- Right click “VTransactDigiTB” and select Disable
- Restart the PC and the Cheque Scanner device
Step 2: Go to C:/Program Files(x86)/Mindgate Solutions/ VTransactDigiTB_Utility and verify that LOG folder is available and that the log files are written successfully.
- Log files would be available in current date folder as below
- i.e : /Mindgate Solutions/VTransactDigiTB_Utility/Log/{DDMMYYYY}/
- If the folders are available and log files are successfully written, please skip this step. If the folders are NOT appearing, follow the below steps accordingly:
- Right click on the installation root folder (i.e C:/Program Files(x86)/Mindgate Solutions)
- Select properties > Go to Security
- Click on Edit > Click on Add > Type “Everyone” > Click on “Check Names”
- Click OK > Select Full Access and Apply Changes
PART 4 - On 22 August 2022, Enable VTransactDigiTB application
Step 1: Enable the “VTransactDigiTB” application
- Search for “Task Manager”
- Click the “Startup” tab
- Scroll down and Select “VTransactDigiTB”
- Right click “VTransactDigiTB” and select Enable
- Restart the Cheque Scanner device by turning it off/on
- Start the VTransactDigiTB application from Windows run.
Congratulations, you may now use iManage Remote Cheque Deposit (RCD) application via iBusiness!
Additional Notes:
- If you can’t enable the “VTransactDigiTB” program, please request your administrator user to enable it.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) / Troubleshooting Guidance:
- iCollect is not working after following Part 1,2 and 3.
- Please ensure “VTransactDigiTB” program is disabled in the Task Manager screen under “Startup” tab.
- Please unplug the Cheque Scanner for your PC, restart the Cheque Scanner and restart your PC. Then, plug the Cheque Scanner back to your PC and try again.
- iManage is not working after following Part 4.
- Please ensure “VTransactDigiTB” program is enabled in the Task Manager screen under “Startup” tab. If enabled, please restart the Cheque Scanner, restart your PC and try again.
- Check if the Smart Source Manager application is running under the Task Manager screen under “Startup” tab. If yes, please disable the Smart Source Manager.
- I am unable to install or disable/enable any of the programs.
- Please ensure you have administrator user access to install or disable/enable the programs. If you do not have administrator user access, please contact your IT.
- I am unable to access iManage page after logging on to iBusiness.
- Please ensure you are using either Microsoft Edge, Firefox or Chrome. Internet Explorer (IE) is not supported for iManage.
- None of the FAQs have worked and I am unable to troubleshoot the issue.
