How to Initiate Remote Cheque Deposit through the iBusiness Mobile App?
Important Notes:
- User permissions should be in place to initiate Remote Cheque Deposit. If not, contact your Corporate Administrator and follow the guidance in the following guide: How to Enable Mobile App Access for Corporate Users?
- Biometric authentication must be enabled to initiate transactions. If not, please enable biometrics by following these steps: from the Main Menu > More > Settings > Enable Biometrics
- You will be able to deposit the cheque to the beneficiary account that is already setup on your iBusiness Profile
Step 1: Initiating Cheque Deposit
- Login to the iBusiness Mobile App
- Select "Cheque Deposit" from the Quick Links menu from the dashboard
- From Maker – Landing Page, click on “Add Deposit” to initiate the cheque deposit process
- Enter the deposit details on the initiation screen
- Select the RIM Id and name from the available list
- Select the Deposit Account Number
- Select the Location
- Enable the toggle to endorse the cheque
Step 2: Scanning the Cheque
- Scan the cheque front side and click on “confirm”
- Scan the cheque back side and click on “confirm”
- To rescan, you can click “Rescan” option in the same screen
- User can click and view the attachment of scanned cheque
Step 3: Submission
- Verify the following fields fetched from the cheque:
- Cheque number
- Routing code
- Drawer account number
- Fill the cheque details on the initiation Screen
- Enter the Cheque amount
- Select the Cheque date
- Select the instrument type
- Enter the Remarks, If any
- Read the disclaimer, verify the details and click on “Submit”
- Authenticate using biometrics
- Finally, you will receive an acknowledgment that your remote cheque deposit has been submitted, along with the Deposit & Master Deposit slip number
