This guide provides step-by-step instructions to edit or amend existing beneficiary details in Next Gen CIB using the iBusiness platform.
Step 1: Access Beneficiary Management
Navigation Path
Log in to iBusiness
Navigate to: Payment & Transfers ➜ Beneficiary Management
Search for Beneficiary
1. Select the Transaction Type
2. Click Search to display beneficiaries

You can refine your search using:
• Beneficiary Nickname
• Beneficiary Name
• Beneficiary Account Number

Step 2: Select and Edit Beneficiary
1. Select the required beneficiary
2. Click the Edit (pencil) icon 

Step 3: Modify Beneficiary Details
1. Update the required fields (e.g., name, account details, bank details)
2. Ensure all mandatory fields are correctly completed


Once done, click on Submit
Step 4: Review & Submit
1. Review all updated beneficiary details
2. Confirm accuracy
3. Click Submit

Step 5: Authenticate the Request
Complete authentication using one of the following methods:
Mobile App Authentication
• Approve the request via the iBusiness mobile app notification
• Use biometric/device verification
Google Authenticator
• Enter the One-Time Password (OTP)

Step 6: Approval Workflow (Maker–Checker)
If Maker–Checker is enabled:
1. The request is routed to a Checker/Approver
2. The Approver must:
- Log in to iBusiness
- Navigate to: Transactions Hub ➜ Pending Your Authorizations
3. Locate the transaction under Edit Beneficiary
4. Review and Approve or Reject the request
