How to Register a Beneficiary for International Bank Payments in iBusiness Next Gen? Print

This guide provides step-by-step instructions to register a beneficiary for International Transfers in Next Gen CIB using the iBusiness platform.


Step 1: Access Beneficiary Creation

  1. Log in to iBusiness
  2. Navigate to: Payments & Transfers  Beneficiary
  3. Click Create Beneficiary 



Step 2: Select Beneficiary Type

  • Select Single Transfer
  • Choose International Transfer Beneficiary

 


Step 3: Enter Beneficiary Details

  1. Fill in all required beneficiary information
  2. Ensure accuracy of:


Basic Information

  • Beneficiary ID
  • Beneficiary Name 1
  • Beneficiary Name 2 (if applicable)
  • Beneficiary Name 3 (if applicable)
  • Nickname


Address Details

  • Address Line 1
  • Address Line 2
  • City
  • P.O. Box
  • Country



Step 4: Enter Bank Details

  1. Provide the required banking information:
  • Country
  • IBAN (International Bank Account Number)
  • use swift code to narrow your search 




Step 5: Review and Submit

  1. Review all entered details carefully
  2. Verify that all information is accurate
  3. Click Submit




Step 6: Authenticate the Request

Complete authentication using one of the following methods:

  • Mobile App Authentication
    • Approve via iBusiness mobile app notification
    • Use biometric or device verification
  • Google Authenticator
    • Enter the One-Time Password (OTP)




Step 7: Approval (If Maker–Checker is Enabled)

  1. The request is routed to a Checker/Approver
  2. The Approver must: Log in to iBusiness

Navigate to: Transactions Hub ➜ Pending Your Authorizations

  1. Locate the request under: Create International Transfers Beneficiary
  2. Review and Approve or Reject
