How to Update Your Trade License in Next Gen CIB Print

Use this guide to update your Trade License details in Next Gen CIB.



Step 1: Access service request

  1. Log in to iBusiness as a corporate user
  2. Navigate to:
     Digital Service Hub > Service Request
  3. Select:
     Account Services
  4. Choose:
    Trade License Update


Step 2: Enter trade license details

  1. Select the expired Trade License from the list
  2. Enter the new expiry date
  3. Upload a copy of the valid Trade License in: 
    • Attachment 1
    • Attachment 2
  4. Click Proceed


Step 3: Submit the request

  1. Review the updated details
  2. Accept the Terms & Conditions
  3. Click Submit


Step 4: Authenticate the request

  • You will receive a notification on your paired mobile device
  • Approve the request to proceed
  • A confirmation screen with a reference number will be displayed


Step 5: Approval (if applicable)

  • If your organisation follows a maker/checker process, the request must be approved
  • The approver should: 
    1. Log in to iBusiness
    2. Go to Transactions Hub > Pending Your Authorizations
    3. Locate the request under Service Request
    4. Review and Approve or Reject the request

Notes

  • Once the request is completed, the trade license will no longer appear in the expired list
  • If you do not have access to iBusiness, you can submit your trade license copy at any CBD branch 

Helpful Tips

  • Ensure the uploaded document is clear, valid, and up to date
  • Double-check the expiry date before submission
  • Upload both required attachments to avoid rejection
  • Keep the reference number to track your request status
