Use this guide to update your Trade License details in Next Gen CIB.
Step 1: Access service request
- Log in to iBusiness as a corporate user
- Navigate to:
Digital Service Hub > Service Request - Select:
Account Services - Choose:
Trade License Update


Step 2: Enter trade license details
- Select the expired Trade License from the list
- Enter the new expiry date
- Upload a copy of the valid Trade License in:
- Attachment 1
- Attachment 2
- Click Proceed

Step 3: Submit the request
- Review the updated details
- Accept the Terms & Conditions
- Click Submit

Step 4: Authenticate the request
- You will receive a notification on your paired mobile device
- Approve the request to proceed
- A confirmation screen with a reference number will be displayed

Step 5: Approval (if applicable)
- If your organisation follows a maker/checker process, the request must be approved
- The approver should:
- Log in to iBusiness
- Go to Transactions Hub > Pending Your Authorizations
- Locate the request under Service Request
- Review and Approve or Reject the request
Notes
- Once the request is completed, the trade license will no longer appear in the expired list
- If you do not have access to iBusiness, you can submit your trade license copy at any CBD branch
Helpful Tips
- Ensure the uploaded document is clear, valid, and up to date
- Double-check the expiry date before submission
- Upload both required attachments to avoid rejection
- Keep the reference number to track your request status
